The Association of Property & Casualty Claims Professionals (“PCCP”) is a professional educational association established to address the needs of the property and casualty claims adjusting community.  The Association’s mission is to provides a means for adjusters to secure continuing education units as required by the various licensing entities across the United States, while also staying abreast of trends and changes in a dynamic and challenging legislative and business environment.  Our home state is Florida, and we are moving first across the nation through the other states that require continuing education as a requirement of licensure.  Our primary focus, however, is to provide the means for all adjusters to both begin and continue professional training and development in the claims adjusting profession.

The most important principles of the PCCP lies in our Antitrust Statement, our Memberships, and our Mission Statement:

AntiTrust Statement
The Association of Property & Casualty Claims Professionals, it's officers, directors, faculty, membership and/or any other individuals or relationships within this organization are to conduct themselves in a manner which will not violate any antitrust laws, court decisions, or other procedures relating to competition.

There will be no discussion of prices for products or services rendered by the employers of directors, faculty or members of the PCCP.  There will be no discussions which could lead to "blacklisting", "boycotting", or "seal of approval" programs.  Pricing decisions of products or services rendered wholly by PCCP are, however, considered appropriate.

This AntiTrust Statement applies to all formal meetings and/or informal gatherings

Association Membership
The PCCP offers three (3) levels of membership:

• Adjuster Memberships - Regular memberships are available for property and liability adjusters (and their supervisors, managers, etc.) only*. In addition to other member benefits, adjuster members will receive continuing education credits for all classroom and distance learning courses, seminars and conferences taken through the PCCP...and at signicantly discounted rates.
  
  *The key element in this level of membership is “actively engaged” in the handling, adjustment, supervision, management or review of property and liability claims.
   
• Associate Memberships - Associate Memberships are for other licensed or non-licensed professionals similarly engaged in the management, review or analysis of the property and casualty claims industry. Examples include, but are not limited to, risk managers, human resource professionals, safety professionals, brokers and agents.

*Note: Full and Associate Memberships do not include sales, marketing, consulting, managerial, or providers of expert services to the P&C claims industry.  Examples  include licensed claims/medical  professionals working in sales, marketing or management positions for service providers, attorneys, experts, engineers or other similar positions.

• Service Partner Memberships - A corporate membership for companies who provide services to the insurance claims industry. Examples include, but are not limited to, law firms, investigation and surveillance companies, transportation providers, accident reconstruction and engineering firms, consulting firms, and others. Mission Statement
The Association of Property & Casualty Claims Professionals’ primary purpose is to raise the professionalism in the property and casualty claims community through education and communication by:

• Providing a means for licensed property and casualty claims adjusters and professionals to secure continuing education required for licensure;
• Providing for the essential basic training, continuing education and professional development of property and casualty claims professionals;
• Providing a means of keeping the membership informed of developments of interest in the propery and casualty insurance and self-insurance claims environment;
• Enhancing the effectiveness, integrity, and ethical conduct of the claims community, and to work with other interests to improve relationships within and external to the insurance and self-insurance marketplace, the claims environment, and the consumer.
